Nestled into the desert floor of the Estrella Mountain range in South Phoenix lies Phoenix Raceway. The home for the 2020 NASCAR Championships and my playground since I was a toddler. With last years extreme makeover targeting a state-of-the-art fan experience, Phoenix Raceway offers race fans a race day experience like none other! The FanShield 500 is just around the corner March 6-8th and I highly recommend you attending and including the INField Experience in your package!
Today I was able to introduce my neighbors to Phoenix Raceway through the eyes of Corporate Sales Manager Lucas de Jong who came to our neighborhood Encanterra in the Southeast Valley with the pace car to invite folks to join in on a special corporate event being offered by the track.
On race day, I look forward to leading my neighbors through the INField Experience, a behind the scene tour of the garage areas, inspection stations and victory lane! We will also stop by pit road to meet up with my husband Charlie Cutter serving on the fire-safety team for a quick lesson on the role of the fire-safety team on pit road.
50+ years ago, I stood in the grandstands cheering on my favorite drivers as a youngster, unaware that so many years later my dream of working in the field of racing would have my feet strolling upon the desert soil at Phoenix Raceway with the purpose of teaching others about this amazing sport we call auto racing!
